Azalake Huduma operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the United Republic of Tanzania, including but not limited to the Companies Act (Cap 212), the Business Names Registration Act, the Tanzania Revenue Authority Act, the Electronic and Postal Communications Act (EPOCA), and the Cybercrimes Act of 2015.
Azalake Huduma is a duly registered entity with the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) of Tanzania, Registration Number 182505676. We maintain all required licenses and permits necessary for our operations.
We comply with all tax obligations under Tanzanian law, including Value Added Tax (VAT) and corporate income tax. All service providers on the platform are required to have valid Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TIN) and comply with their individual or corporate tax obligations as mandated by the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
We implement Anti-Money Laundering measures in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2006. This includes Know Your Customer (KYC) verification for all service providers, monitoring of suspicious transaction patterns, mandatory reporting to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), and record-keeping of all financial transactions.
We adhere to data protection principles as outlined in the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) Regulations and emerging Tanzanian data protection frameworks. All personal data is processed lawfully, stored securely, and used only for purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
We are committed to protecting consumer rights as guided by the Fair Competition Act. This includes transparent pricing, fair dispute resolution mechanisms, clear communication of service terms, and protection against fraudulent service providers.
